My eating habits are tied directly my state of mind. Do they call that "emotional eating?" Funny thing, it does not really matter to me what it is that I'm eating during a stressed out time - so if I can get my hands on something healthy (carrot sticks) then munching won't turn in to fat. All about choices as we all know.

Good for you, Marty! Social networking is amazing for a number of things, so I am very happy that Jason Falls created this network.
I joined my local Anytime Fitness, and am working out for at least an hour a minimum of 4 days a week. I am still working on my dietary habits. I have a weakness for snacking several times a day, and don't typically keep healthy snacks on hand. I usually end up taking a few bites here and there of leftover dinner since I work from home... (which is another reason that I need an office!)
I tend to have a few beers or mixed drinks a few evenings through the week which then ends up in an extra meal late at night, which is horrible for my figure. So, I have said that I am limiting alcohol consumption to weekends, and if I need to de-stress during the week, I'll just have one glass of wine.
Every 6 weeks, two Thursdays in a row, I go to Ike & Jonesy's on their 25 cent Bud Light night, especially since they are one of our clients, and will get beer as well as order cheese sticks and fries. I probably won't cut that out since it's only every 6 weeks, but will definitely be more conscious of what I order when I do go. Last night was my last night at Ike's for 6 weeks, so I should be good for a while!
To call me a "driven" person is an understatement (friends might use the term "scary"...) There's something about my makeup that doesn't allow me to tackle a day without to-do list of at least 30 items. I kid you not. There are always 27 different...
My husband and I just got back from a week long stay at "The Montana Cabin" where we had a full week of rest, quiet, beautiful scenery, and no schedule or goals to accomplish, other than rest and reconnection.
The mornings were slow - we got up w...
